These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BlackBone VPN client app for iOS and macOS ("the App") provided by Blackbone SRL ("Blackbone", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
The App is a client application that establishes a WireGuard VPN tunnel between your device and a VPN exit node. The App is provided free of charge during the initial release window. Pricing may change in the future, but the version you have installed will continue to work under the terms in effect when you installed it.
2. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the App to:
- Transmit content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the exit node
- Send spam, attempt unauthorized access to computer systems, deploy malware, or conduct denial-of-service attacks
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Bypass age-restriction or geo-restriction systems in ways that violate the operator's terms — using a VPN is legal, deceiving service providers may breach their contracts and we will cooperate with lawful authorities
Repeated abuse may result in your IP being blocked at our exit nodes.
3. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific speeds, or the availability of any particular exit location.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blackbone is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed €50.
5. Third-party services
If you use Apple's distribution platforms (App Store, TestFlight), Apple's terms apply in addition to ours.
6. WireGuard trademark
WireGuard® is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld. BlackBone VPN uses the open-source WireGuard protocol. We are not affiliated with Jason A. Donenfeld or the WireGuard project.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
